Mario Beauregard is a luthier based out of Montreal. He is making some amazing guitars, both electric and acoustic. The guitar shown here you might say is rather traditional, but I include it here because of the use of some unusual woods and the sheer beauty of the figuring. The waterfall bubinga used for the back and sides is unique and seldom used. I expect it will be used more often since it is affordable/obtainable (as opposed to many exotic tonewoods which are being banned) and is an excellent tonewood in the right luthier’s hands.
