I met the owner of Ergon Guitars, Adriano Sérgio at the Holy Grail Guitar Show a few years ago, and was really impressed with his guitars and designs. You can see the Gaudi influence in his beautiful flowing designs. I feel there’s this natural, flowing nature of the design, but with a unique signature of curves that interrupts things in a way that make it seem alien, yet still familiar. Very much like Gaudi.
His guitars are all handmade, no CNC, and with a focus on natural materials — no plastic, etc.
My favorite model is the Coimbra. Simply stunning design with great acoustic clarity and tone.
