Best Solid-State Amp - jtkung - 03-19-2016 Lots of examples come up: Pearce G2r (vintage) Lab Series Lab 5 (vintage) Quilter (new) Pritchard (new) The Pearce G2r is still one of the best combo buys out there. No longer made since the early 1990s, its about $500 USD used if you can find one. Really awesome amp that used to be used by Andy Summers, Ronnie Montrose, Allan Holdsworth, and David Torn.
