It's funny after reading The Gear Page (TGP) for decades ... you can see it's a microcosm of the US consumer:
One story was interesting about a guy who bought a guitar from a luthier he never had experience with, paid $3200 USD, and said it was 20% of his income. Man, that is just plain stupid! His guitar tech most likely screwed the guitar up too -- broke the neck!
