Modern guitar body shapes
#1
In a bid to move away from the traditional Strat, Tele, and Les Paul body shapes,  many builders have wandered into uncharted territory. And with hideous results.  Many are too pointy, or look like weapons.  Though the Flying V or Explorer are okay.  But these are considered vintage.  The Jaguar is not too bad, but lacks the curves.  PRS is the most successful in bringing a new shape to market, but his is really a mix of the Strat double horn that's more streamlined like a Les Paul.

For truly great shapes in the modern era, there aren't too many.  I think Jens Ritter and Michael Sankey lead the pack. Beautiful flowing curves and points --using traditional designs as a base.
