LHT Guitars
I’ve showcased LHT Guitars before, but it’s time to revisit because he’s added a few more models, and they fully represent new, modern designs and ideas executed with masterful luthiery.
I’m still quite impressed with his Fugue model. It’s a great, aesthetically balanced design, with artfully crafted curves, shapes, and features. The signature sound hole along the body edge is beautiful and functional, and the comfort bevels and angles are integrated superbly. There’s a nice balance of beautiful woodworking, inlays, and binding as well as burst finishes without being overly gaudy.
The Madrigal follows the same design aesthetic but with the sound hole in the upper bout.
And the Baroque is the fully implemented, more conventional acoustic guitar design, but clearly has Tyler’s signature all over it — his asymmetrical body shape that is so well balanced.
The future of modern luthiery is in good hands!
