I met Paul at the Holy Grail Guitar show in 2016 in Berlin, and what struck me were his unique and amazing designs, and his willingness to discuss them with customers. I was able to try his Stega bass model, which has this hybrid exo-skeleton look. Very comfortable and easy to play, yet still complex enough to challenge the player with rich tones and a commanding presence. He also makes guitars in a similar style, along with some acoustics as well. An extremely well-rounded and accomplished luthier, with an eye to the future.
