Rick Toone is the epitome of modern, and everything he creates demonstrates the ability to stretch the imagination in both design, geometry, materials, and construction.
The USM Atmosphere is one of my favorites because it still retains some traditional elements (the shape is not too radical, and it has more conventional wood in some of the key structures) while still forging ahead with a headless design, segmented body with carbon fiber, and unique tuners. I really love the extended upper horn, the graceful lines and curves. Here are the rough specs:
