Thierry Andre hails from Quebec Canada and is producing some incredible avant-garde guitar masterpieces. The harp guitar shown here was recently displayed at the 2016 Holy Grail Guitar Show in Berlin, Germany and exemplifies his work.
There are many distinctive items in this guitar:
- The additional neck needed to support the sympathetic harp strings are closely aligned with the original neck so it follows the flow and sleekness of the guitar. There aren’t any random necks sticking out in weird positions. The balance and aesthetic are properly maintained.
- The sound hole position complements the overall design
- The guitar is also electronically capable — with pickups — and controls emanating from the tailpiece. This is unique — I have never seen on any other guitar
- The back is sculpted and constructed in sections — showing beautiful curves
This is a stunning guitar in every way. The form, function, design, and sophistication of construction make this a truly unique guitar, and was a favourite at the 2016 Holy Grail Guitar Show.
