WTF? Incredible that this happened, but not surprising and somewhat telling. It was Brexit 2.0. It highlights the sheer number of people unhappy and dissatisfied with government. Mostly non-college-educated, white, and in rust-belt areas hardest hit by globalization and technology advances. They felt left out, and this is their revenge. The fact that they ignored Trump's incoherent vision and obvious drawbacks points to the lack of education and focus on what has always been the main theme in America: making $$. This is true for the educated, non-educated, white, black, hispanic, asian, etc. And if the uneducated can't make $$ -- but still have a vote equal to someone much richer, then government has to include these people in good economic times. Else they will vote for things illogical, stupid, and dangerous.
If we see the same outcomes in upcoming European elections -- due to nationalistic trends there -- this will not be good.
