Played one the other day. It had great clarity and a sweetness to the treble and overall great balance. They say it has better "intonation" than the X-brace, but I think this is not correct. Maybe the notes blend better together, but this should not be called intonation, which is really determined by fret positions, action, and scale lengths. In videos, they compare the V-brace to the X-brace version, and it is very hard to tell. If there's a difference, it's subtle.
